The organizing team hides the caches – special objects or small puzzles – and publishes the geographical coordinates of their hiding locations on an online platform. The participants search for the hidden objects using smartphones and a geocaching app or GPS receivers and log their finds on the platform
The method is excellent for connecting knowledge with real places and tangible objects and promoting experiential and action-oriented learning.
